Eye Recommend is an optometrist cooperative that represents over 1300 doctors across Canada. The organization’s biggest pain point was their website which lacked branding and responsive design. Over the course of six months, my creative director and I worked in consultation with Eye Recommend’s marketing team and an external web development team to launch the new site.
My process begins with doing a competitive audit, crafting user personas, then creating a sitemap. The new website makes the logo prominent and works within Eye Recommend’s existing brand guidelines. The result is an approachable and streamlined site for existing members, potential members, and future patients.
The new website addresses a major pain point by being fully responsive on all devices.
The member login became a dropdown in the fixed header instead of a separate page. This way, it is accessible anywhere and requires less clicks to reach.
To further tell the story of Eye Recommend, I made a motion graphics video in the brand style that is viewable from the home page. The bold graphic style makes it legible at any screen size.
